The person who came up with Scrappy Doo is well known. It's blogger extraordinaire Mark Evanier. What's more he not only admits it but is proud of it because it kept a lot of people working for a couple of extra years.
There are a lot worse characters than some of the ones named. Anyone remember Crash Cargo? How about Rocket Robin Hood?

Actually, I always had kind of a thing for Olive Oyl, probably because I remember the character more from THIMBLE THEATRE.
And speaking of Worst Characters, what about Winky Dink ?

I used to bug my parents to take me to the Telewink Drive In on Telephone Rd. in Houston because I thought I'd see Winky Dink there!
