I find myself agreeing with this article as I have watched (and still watch) all of these shows except Supernatural, which I gave up on after the first season.
I don't watch Supernatural but I would like to mention that it has one of my favourite character actors (and Facebook friend, as well as a guy I used to read and enjoy when we both hung out in some movie newsgroups back in the old days) Mr. Jim Beaver. That has to be worth something.

Torchwood is my guilt trip. I quit on Supernatural after the first season. The rest I've never even been tempted to watch.
