16-Pound Baby Born In Texas: "The average weight of a newborn baby is about 7 1/2 pounds, which is why it's shocking -- even in Texas -- that a woman has given birth to a 16-pound baby boy."

I think at that point you leave the term childbirth behind and use the term mitosis, where one organism splits into two.
I believe the Aggies have already signed him up as a defensive lineman.
I did not read the article, but--for the mother's sake--I sincerely hope that child was delivered by a c-section.
