What a great line-up of films. There are better ones in the bunch, but among my personal favorites are S.O.B. and SUNSET.
I'll always applaud him for casting and story line plotting for "The Pink Panther", a light comedy with all parts of the movie (including the intro cartoon) nearly perfectly done!
He also produced some great TV shows, most notably "Peter Gunn" and "Mr. Lucky." The theme for both of these was composed by he longtime collaborator Henry Mancini.
I noted his work with Mancini, too, and it's sad news; in recent I was thinking about the director Edwards. 12/16
I have just watched TRAIL OF THE PINK PANTHER [had never seen it], and a few weeks ago THE PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN.
