Top 10 Most Outrageous Moments from "The Transporter" Film Series | AlwaysWatching.org: "In honor of yesterday's news that Jason Statham will soon be kicking some more collective bad-guy ass in a new Transporter film, here are the top 10 most outrageous, awesome, and insane moments from the cinematic masterpieces that comprise The Transporter series."
I haven't seen 2 yet (can't recall the last time I rented a video and can count on one hand the times I've been to a theater, including the Drive In, in the last two, maybe three, years) but I liked the first film esp the door scene.
Having been into bodybuilding and martial arts while they were still a sub culture and having seen Jackie Chan films before Joe Public had a clue who he was, as much as some of his moves and stunt work are pretty cool my favorite move in a martial arts film is still the biker bar fight scene in Silent Rage (1982) where Sheriff Dan Stevens (Chuck Norris) does a spinning back fist while breaking a pool cue and using it instead of his fist to strike the bad guy.
Sadly I heard Chuck became "saved". That's what comes of living in Texas. :-P
I think Silent rage is an esp. underrated movie. When Terminator came out later people where saying "Ooo, an unstoppable killing machine. What a cool concept." It was a very good sci fi movie with a much bigger budget than SR but the unstoppable killing machine in SR is just as cool a concept.
Supposedly, Seth Rogen is now signed on to play the Lone Ranger's grand-nephew. Seems like that will be about as off-kilter as Jack Black as Carl Denham.
At least I can still pop The Rocketeer and The Phantom into the DVD player.
Lucy Liu... ::sigh:: I'm still awaiting her and Kelly Hu to show up under the Christmas tree Christmas morning wrapped in red ribbons. Uh, did I say that out loud?

I liked both Transporter movies and will probably see the third. Even though even Jason Statham isn't as cool as Chuck Norris.
Koff.
I'm still waiting for a Norris as much fun as CRANK. Or "Cranked"! OK, Maybe his film with Bruce Lee.

Crank. I haven't seen that yet either. Crank 2: High Voltage (2009) is in pre-production.
Statham had the advantage of coming along later when action films were cranked up to super high octane.
I'm sorry the Green Hornet film with George Clooney and Jet Li never got made.
Even sorrier when they were bruiting the notion of Zhang Zhiyi as Kato. Lucy Liu would've done well, too.

Transporter, now there's a franchise.
All I know is that TRANSPORTER 2 has Bill's favorite nurse.
George Kelley
And she's in one of the clips!
