Bill, are you a member? I wonder if the likes of James Blish or William Johnstone (he of the many westerns and tv tie-ins, not Ted White's pseudonym) are likely to get Life awards this many years later. And do franchise writers who work series, such as James Reasoner, get the same shake as "media" novelists? And, again, where are the short fiction awards?

Well, I densely misread some of the organization's credo, so the Series books that aren't "Media" aren't in the remit.

I've done only one tie-in, and that was a Wishbone book. So I don't really feel qualified.

Well, THAT part of the credo is clear even to a distracted skimmer...they want you, Bill!
