I have mixed feelings about "banned books". I believe parents have the absolute right to work with schools/private schools/church schools/etc to determine subject/language/age-appropriate reading material. I think many adults will argue, but I remember the knowledge level of my children at 5,6, 7 years of age and there is no reason for books to be read to them that contain expletives or bigoted sexual, religious, and nationality language or pictures. However, I don't think adult readers should not have the right to read any book in publication.
