I first heard this on Armed Forces Radio when I was an exchange student in Japan in the mid-'70s, and loved it; I have all of CW's albums, all but one on LP. Interestingly, AFRN played his "There Won't Be No Country Music (There Won't Be No Rock 'n Roll)" just once and never again; I guess somebody thought that, as an anti-exploitation anthem, it was just too controversial...

This was (and still is) one of my Dad's favorite songs and I can still remember every word.
I miss the old days.
Reminds me of my Dad too.
