"Foot" in NY recycling plant was bear paw: "It turns out that a decomposing 'foot' found among recyclables at a western New York landfill came from a bear, not a person."
Bear feet are phenomenally like human ones, and easily mistaken for human ones. A few years ago I wrestled Buffy, a black bear owned by a friend. He flattened me in seconds.

Read this and immediately that song "Barefootin'" popped into my mind--or was it "Bearfootin'"???
And, of course, either way, one is also reminded of Ronald Reagan's most famous line in film, "Where's the rest of me?" Mmmm, recycled bear.
Janet, you should have given a "geezer alert" on that one. By coincidence, we saw Robert Parker doing the song ("Barefootin'") at Jazzfest this year.

Too bad it wasn't Robert B. Parker.
But which Robert B. Parker?
I was thinking of Robert B. "Ace" Parker. I think the other one's long gone.

My mother warned me about walking around in my bear feet. Now I know why.
