There was a time when I thought this was the coolest movie around. There are two versions out there. The unedited one has the experimented-on goon ripping off the arm of the lab assistant. Real gory stuff for its time, with blood smeared across the wall. Of course the older you get the "coolness" wears off. The music is decent in the film.

this movie scared the hell out of me when I saw it as a kid on a creature-double feature TV show.
