Although I'm a "cradle Episcopalian," I've worshipped at a local Methodist church for years and can't say enough about UMCOR's disaster response. Here in southeast Louisiana we've both donated to and been the recipient of assistance from them. We already had "Flood Buckets" ready to fill with supplies in the narthex this morning--and I guarantee that some of the first non-governmental disaster response you'll see as the flood waters abate will be from UMCOR and regional Methodist churches.
