Harvey Update
I'm fine. 12 inches of rain so far, or more, but it's draining well. This isn't the case in Houston and other nearby towns where there's terrible, catastrophic flooding. And the rain will continue for at least two more days. I still think Alvin will be okay, but this is the kind of flooding that will be remembered for generations. The hurricane damage was disastrous, but the flooding is going to be even worse.

What would Sheriff Rhodes do when the flood chased the feral hogs all over Blacklin County? Is the dead body in one of the towns a citizen? Was the person killed in the town or carried in from somewhere else? And, if so, can trouble be far behind?
At least you are doing OK. The video we saw last night from the coastal areas were horrendous.
Good luck.
The latest forecast for here has the storm up by Tyler on Friday with rain still down your way, Bill. Because we would be on the west side of the deal, theoretically we would not get as much rain as those folks over in Blacklin County and points east.
Please take care. We have a friend who lives in Santa Fe (a few miles from Alvin) and right now he's ok, but says a number of his friends aren't as fortunate.
