I don't know. I do know I communicate better in my fiction and my reviews when I write them out longhand first, before transferring them to the computer.

I am. I can read what I type into the computer. No one--including me--can consistently read my handwriting.

Well, George and Deb could certainly speak to the change when Henry James went from writing himself to dictating his books. Many critics didn't think it was a change for the better.
