They are on "every" list because they belong there, they're the best, period.
Two of a Kind: The Hillside Strangler by Darcy O'Brien was a disturbing book,but, fascinating. I'll agree that In Cold Blood, and The Executioner's Song should have been on that list. Zodiac by Robert Graysmith was another true crime I'd recommend.
