Vintage Reads #54: Titular Tramps: Hey, if you can't come up with an attention grabbing title for your sleazy paperback (like "Sintrigue" or "Lust for Kicks"), then just slap a girl's name on the cover and be done with it. Here's a bunch of trashy reads featuring trashy ladies from Amy to Vicky. Enjoy...
A lot of great old paperback covers, many NSFW.

LIANA by Martha Gellhorn. THE Martha Gellhorn?
/DEBBIE ("The amorous adventures of a luscious model on her way to success") appears to be the most demure of the bunch...as it should be.
Yes, that's THE Martha Gellhorn.
Those luscious models are always demure, I suppose, even when they're having amorous adventures.
I'm going to look for that Gellhorn book.
Totally off-topic, but my husband took the twins for a college visit today and he just texted me that the Vice Chancellor of Academics said the following to the assembled group: "You high-achieving teens represent the penultimate of intelligence." Yikes!
Time to look elsewhere for a college to attend.
Yikes! At least he was only the Vice Chancellor.
The Titular Tramps? Pamela Anderson? Jenny McCarthy?
Which came first? The Shame of Jenny? Or Awakening Jenny?
(Maybe that should be "Which was published first?", given the context...)
Oh, my...and The Undoing of Jenny.
Jenny certainly got around, didn't she?
And so did Marilyn...
The penultimate chancellor.
Well, they do have a Kitty. Mine's better looking, though.
Or the ultimate (not penultimate) in generic titles: SHE.
