Indeed. We lived close to PS 58 and knew it had a French language program that attracted many French people. We have eaten at Cafe Luluc (good brunch) and know the other Smith Street restaurants in Carroll Gardens & Boerum Hill. They always make a big deal about Bastille Day and close part of the street. But I didn't realize it had spread to Williamsburg and other trendy areas.
Next thing you know we'll be getting mimes on the subway. I would hate that.
