The Godfather Update

Never before seen? Surely this was done before? I know I've seen it, or am I hallucinating?

Maybe on that visit to Carlos Castaneda.

Jeff is right. That was done. Many years ago. Taylor loves it. He may even own it in some form.

Taylor loves it? Does this means that there are show tunes?

Thanks, Steve, for confirming I'm not completely crazy. Coppola called it THE GODFATHER SAGA then - or NBC did. They started with the young Vito meeting young Clemenza and young Tessio.

Summer of '81. Notable for playing as my family and I were visiting my birth-city of Fairbanks, AK, the only time I've been back since we moved away in '69, and THE GODFATHER SAGA played well into the midnight sun, as Fairbanks is prone to. It was very odd that the sun barely got mostly below the horizon, since this was a bit after the solstice. My first experience of the GODFATHER movies, and not the worst option, although the commercials were annoying at times...though I would just stare out the living room window during their blather.

I have it as a laser-disc boxed set.
