Glenn Frey: 20 Essential Songs

Had no idea Frey was involved in the production of RAMBLIN' GAMBLIN' MAN, Bob Seeger's best song IMHO.

Not his best song, but I agree it was a surprise Frey was involved, though I did know he sang backup for Seger.

I've always been a Don Henley guy rather than Frey. Some they listed I guess because they co-wrote them, but is there a more solo Henley song than "Wasted Time"? It is one of my favorites, too. If I had to pick a Frey song I'd go with "Tequila Sunrise" or "Lyin' Eyes."

That's make a CD worth having. Henley was probably the better songwriter ("Hotel California" is the bomb; post-Eagles, I think two of his best are "Boys of Summer" and "End of the Innocence"), but the ones co-written with Frey are money.
