Ted Marchibroda, R. I. P.
The New York Times: Ted Marchibroda, who coached the Baltimore Colts to three consecutive N.F.L. division championships in the 1970s and later installed a high-powered no-huddle offense that helped propel the Buffalo Bills to four straight Super Bowl games, died on Saturday in Weems, Va. He was 84.

Ted Marchibroda invented the "K-gun" offense that took the Bills to four Super Bowls in a row. All his players liked him. Great guy who didn't get enough credit for his accomplishment.
I agree, George. A great coach.
There are too many jerks around these days and not enough like Marchibroda.
I don't know. I saw him coach a game in the '70s where his team (Colts?) had a halftime lead so he slowed it down in the second half and eventually lost.
