The 2015 Black List
A Surreal Epic About Michael Jackson's Chimp Topped the 2015 Black List: The Black List is an annual ranking of Hollywood’s most promising yet-to-be-produced screenplays. Past years have highlighted eventual awards-grabbers like Argo, American Hustle, and The Social Network, as well as genre entries like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. This year’s mix is similarly all over the map.

I actually think a novel narrated by Bubbles the Chimp would be more interesting than watching a movie about him (which I doubt would get made because of how many releases would be required from Jackson's estate). I've also thought a book narrated by Koko the Gorilla (who is able to communicate with sign language and loves kittens) would be worth reading. I read a book some years ago (author and title escape me right now) narrated by an African elephant and it was quite engaging. It's all in how the material is presented.
