I've read more of the writers cited than I guessed I might have, but an unsurprising none of the novels (all novels, which is already wrong). A with the GoodReads fantasy list, Way too much uniformity of packaging , if not quite as blatant as that set. When "genre" romances have a wider variety of cover designs, one realizes the degree of rut...
I decided not to count how many of the books I have read, but how many of the authors I have even heard of...that's be 3. And I will read one of the books, Terry Pratchett's The Shepherd's Crown...I'd read his grocery lists, actually.
I've heard of about half the authors, own two of the books listed (the ones by Butcher and Correia) but haven't read them yet, and saw several more on the list I wouldn't mind reading, unlike the SF list from a few days ago which had a bunch of books on it you couldn't pay me to read. There are a few of these you couldn't pay me to read, too, but at least most of them look sort of promising. I read at least one of Martin's Dunk and Egg novellas and liked it. I thought the first book in Abercrombie's trilogy, HALF A KING, was great, but I started the second one and didn't finish it, thought it was 'way too much by the numbers.
Okay, I should've looked at the list more carefully. I've read one book by Abercrombie, too, and I've also read one by Correia. The Abecrombie book was okay, and so was Correia's, but it was far too long, as are all of his that I've seen. I doubt I'll ever read another.
I must admit, I'm not breaking any limbs in my rush to read any of Correia's fiction, either. Even if his behavior didn't quite seem to slip into the Lou Antonelli trough. But I'm not really killing myself in the interests of keeping up at all, at the moment. I have enough trouble keeping James Lincoln ___es straight at the moment.

I'm not at all familiar with most of the writers. I've read Martin, Novik, and Butcher previously, but that's probably it.

I forgot Pratchett. That makes four. I've read several of his books.
I read some of the authors, none of the books, and abhor the covers on all but two. Fantasy covers used to be so cool. **SIGH**

I forgot to say I have, and have started to read, Twelve Kings in Sharakhai by Bradley P. Beaulieu.
And, after the Rabid Puppy thing regarding the Hugo awards, I wouldn't read a book by Correia if you or he paid me.

I've heard of three, read none, and have already fallen in love with Maas.
