That 80's slasher one does sound appealing, however.
I agree about VOICES. I usually don't care for serial killer movies, but if this movie is not too explicitly gory, it might be worth a look. The one with Al Pacino looks dreadful. Pacino and De Niro seem to be in a race to see who can sacrifice more of their talents to worthless projects (Travolta and Cage having already crossed the finish line on that one).
I dimly recall looking at but not reading Z FOR ZACHARIAH's source novel, by Robert C. O'Brien. "Z for Zachariah received a 1976 honor award from the Jane Addams Children's Book Award] and the Edgar Award for the best mystery fiction in the juvenile category."
