After this and the clock incident a few weeks ago, I have to ask: How are we conditioning the students and teachers in our public schools? I mean, Newtown, Columbine, Charleston, 9/11, I get it, but it is beginning to sound as if everyone is just sitting in school all day quaking with fear waiting for the other shoe to drop. If that is indeed the new permanent beleaguered mentality, then the bad guys certainly won.
I was in the check out lane at a TG&Y back around 1980 when my small son asked me to get some gum. In a very short time one of the managers pulled me aside to ask me if I had a gun. Wasn't easy to convince him.

Perhaps he should have asked for a "gub".
Deb got there first...with a shout-out to Woody Allen...
Sounds like a gub to me.
