Look out kid
Don’t matter what you did
Walk on your tiptoes
Don’t try “No-Doz”
Better stay away from those
That carry around a fire hose
Keep a clean nose
Watch the plain clothes
You don’t need a weatherman
To know which way the wind blows

A true classic of the era.

Absolutely. Still one of my all-time favorites.

I think of Cap'n Bob whenever I hear:

"Twenty years of schoolin'
and they put you on the day shift."

Remember:

"Don't follow leaders,
Watch your parking meters."

Love this song. Remember hearing it for the first time as a teenager when it was ferst released. Sounded totally unlike anything else.

Also one of the first "music videos," with Allen Ginsberg wandering around in the background.
