I thought I knew paperbacks, but this "imprint" is a new one on me. I assume the WWOD books were sold at the parks, but did they get general distribution? Are these the same tie-ins published by mainstream publishers but given new covers for Disney outlets? Is there a checklist somewhere? Quick wiki check fails to provide info.

Pyramid did this tie-in, and I suspect the distribution was pretty good.

Interesting. I was just remembering this mini series on Disney yesterday after I saw an interview with Patrick McGoohan about "The Prisoner"

I loved THE SCARECROW series on Disney TV. I was able to acquire a copy of the set a couple years ago and rewatched it. Just as good as the first time I watched it. If it every comes out in Blu-ray, I'll buy it.

The character has an interesting pedigree. From Russell Thorndike's series of novels starting in 1915 to the 1937 film DR SYN stylishly directed by Roy William Neil, with George Arliss, to the 1962 Hamner film (NIGHT CREATURES in the US; CAPTAIN CLEGG in Britain) with Peter Cushing, and then the excellent Disney mini-series. All worth watching.
