I don't know about her, but I did.
I hope it gave her a chuckle, but it probably cemented her view that the publishers were philistines./Have never been able to make it through anything she wrote; sympathize greatly with the person who wrote that letter.
I was required to read 3 LIVES in grad school. Did it.
