No love for "Viva Laughlin"? A drama, with musical interludes, set in a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. A high (low) point in the one episode that aired was the casino owner dancing down an escalator singing Elton John's "I'm Still Standing." Classic stuff!
Not only do I remember My Mother the Car, I can still sing the theme song (and often do).
I did watch Cop Rock when it went on but it was bad, very bad.
I remember that, Deb. It was an adaptation of the British Viva Blackpool. Having been to Laughlin, and having read the reviews, I had no need to watch it.
What about "It's About Time" with astronauts going through time and ending up with Joe E. Ross and Imogene Coca as cavemen (and women)? (I also know a little of the theme song of that one.)
I have only vague memory of the It's About Time theme song, but I do have an LP of Joe E. Ross vocalizing "The Ooh-Ooh Samba" with Milt Jackson's combo. Close enough?

Only Alf. The rest, no.
Not even MY MOTHER, THE CAR?

Somehow I missed that one.
Yeah--you and 99.99% of the viewing public.
Yeah, three of 'em. The Flying Nun, My Mother The Car, and The Second Hundred Years.

And stay off my lawn!
Jeff
I'll remind you to sing those theme songs the next time I see you.
I'll cop to Alf,but that's it.

Art
The Flying Nun, Vaguely remember watching My Mother, The Car. None of the others, most of which I never heard of before.
My youngest loved COP ROCK!
It's an impressive set wherein HEIL, HONEY is the least bad. I've seen a piece of an episode, at least, of all these.
It's About Time.
My Mother the Car.
I must admit, Art, those are totally unfamiliar to me.
Jeff
I'm sure your versions are better, Jeff. And of course IT'S ABOUT TIME is a Sherwood Schwartz creation. I should've known.
I did mean to mention that. Old Sherwood didn't quite hit it out of the park that time like he did with Gilligan's Island or The Brady Bunch.
