I remember reading this Lionel White classic way back when. Lionel White was the King of the Caper Novel in his day.
Cool book. It was made into the odd-but-pretty-good THE NIGHT OF THE FOLLOWING DAY in 1968, starring Marlon Brando - in blonde hair. Richard Boone was the bad guy, which is always a sign of quality.
