Football and TV star Merlin Olsen dies aged 69 | Reuters: "Football star turned actor Merlin Olsen, who was a key member of the Los Angeles Rams' defensive line nicknamed the 'Fearsome Foursome,' died at the age of 69 on Thursday after a battle with cancer."

He always came across as a decent guy. I liked the man on and off the field.
And he was a teammate of Brock "The Rock" Callahan.
Apparently he was suing NBC-Universal, NBC Studios and 20th Century Fox, Sherwin Williams and Lennox Industries over exposure to asbestos. The movie studio suits relate to exposure to asbestos during his time as a sportscaster and actor on Little House On The Prairie and Father Murphy, while the other two suits relate to exposure as early as 11 years old.
