I'm proud to say I only missed one--and that was about the revival of Mardi Gras in Mobile. I'm about 35 miles north of New Orleans and I wouldn't be able to hold my head up here if I didn't know my Mardi Gras lore.
Hubby took our youngest kids to the Lundi Gras parades in N.O. last night, but my oldest and I took a pass and went out to eat (seafood, natch).
Yeah, we went to a parade Friday night and my teeth were chattering so badly I thought I'd have to get my teeth capped! We've been partying non-stop since the Saints won the Superbowl. Tomorrow's Ash Wednesday. Things should calm down then.

I suppose even the cold weather doesn't keep the good times from rolling in New Orleans.
