Dang is right. After a slow start, it got rather interesting. I wonder if there's any episodes not aired yet. They left a cliffhanger last week and no show this week.

I really liked Terriers too.

This was my favorite new show of the fall and I wish it had been renewed, but the ratings were just dreadful. FX is usually pretty adept at promoting their shows, but the promotional stuff for "Terriers" was just awful, which probably goes a long way toward explaining why nobody watched. It's been years since we had a private eye show this good. I thought the last episode worked pretty well as either a season or series finale.

The premiere episode gave no idea of the show's direction, the title was a mistake, and there was no promotion. Doomed from the start. Those who stuck with it liked it a lot; nobody else tuned in.

I thought the finale wrapped things up pretty well and left a few things hanging in case there was a second season. Too bad there won't be.

Interesting interview with Donal Logue of TERRIERS, in part about TERRIERS, the second decent crime drama with him strangled in its crib (along with LIFE) in the last three years.
