Sorry, but by what stretch of the imagination has Eric Bana ever been "a really big movie star"? Or Woody Harrelson, for that matter. Isla Fisher and Zooey Deschanel?A "really big movie star"? I think not.Jeff
I have to disagree with a few of the names on the list. Both Steve Martin & Woody Harrelson were in movies this year--perhaps not BIG movies, but they were in the public eye.Actually, the actor I really wondered about was Jack Nicholson. Until I saw him recently in the trailer for "How Do You Know," I had guessed he was fading off into the sunset.
I've only heard of less than half (7) of these luminaries, so I'm obviously not With It. No news there 8-)
As I posted over there, I don't know some of them. Isla Fisher? I'd hardly consider half that list big movie stars. And Daniel Craig is busy filming "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," which isn't too shabby.
Well, Isla Fisher isn't untalented and has done several vastly successful films, at least one of them better than it could've been. "Really Big Movie Star" being such a precise and sapient measure.
Robin WilliamsKeanu ReevesWoody Harrelson Eric BanaSacha Baron CohenClive OwenIsla FisherZooey DeschanelViggo MortensonWill SmithVince VaughnSteve MartinDaniel CraigHugh GrantKate Winslet--a list that is actually elevated by Isla Fisher's presence.
I like Isla Fisher - she was the best thing in WEDDING CRASHERS and was good in DEFINITELY, MAYBE.But she's no movie star - NTTAWWT.To me a "movie star" in current parlance (recent years) is: Julia RobertsTom CruiseJohn TravoltaClint EastwoodTom HanksWill Smith (the only one on the list of 15)Jeff
We can only hope that the next Sacha Baron Cohen movie is just around the corner.
When did Zooey become a big star? Hugh Grant cut back on acting a few years ago. He has done 3 films in the last 4 years. This list is nonsense.
