I know the work of the poets on that list best, I suppose. But Kinsella's stuff was wonderful, and Eco always made me think, even if sometimes (Foucault's Pendulum) I had no idea what he was on about.
I met Kinsella once when we were guests at a conference. I bought one of his books and got it signed. A wonderful writer. Harper Lee had a big effect on my when I read TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD in the first paperback in the early '60s.
