I don't know...I thought the bigfoot habitat was much farther north.
In any event...
At my former university (Indiana University), he would probably have been fired. And I suspect that very few people would have been upset about it. True, $7,000 is a trivial amount of money (and I'd guess almost all of it went to the 2 bigfoot "experts"), but finding a more worthwhile use for the money would have taken less than 1 second of reflection. (Having spent my life in higher ed, it irks me to see people doing stupid sh&t like this; public universities have enough trouble getting state legislatures to provide adequate funding and this sh&t does not help.)
