I was just channel-surfing yesterday and came across Bob Dylan's MASKED AND ANONYMOUS. In a scene set in a carnival, he sees a sign, MAN EATING CHICKEN. Bob pulls back the curtain and there's a guy eating a piece of chicken.

Wasn't there a thing on I LOVE LUCY where the sign says "Man Eating Tiger" and Ricky comes out and takes a bite out of a candy tiger?
