Rain, Rain, Go Away

Historic Houston flood: 14 inches of rain in under 12 hours — and it's not over

It's raining in Alvin, too, but we're not flooded like Houston.  Yet.

El Nino strikes again!

It is beautiful here, finally. And the rain is still far away.

Good luck.

Yikes! Wonder if it's heading our way. Stay dry...if you can.

Amazing down there, Bill. The cutoff lows can be as destructive as a hurricane with the heavy rains.

My sister's house (near one of the bayous in Houston) was flooded last year, and they'd just about finished the rehab...and planned to sell it (they built a house on top of a hill near New Braunfels)...and now this.

All the bayous (seven, I believe) in Houston are flooded today.

Get out the water wings and fire up the dehumidifier.

I watched some very scary footage of cars (and people) being swept away by flood waters in Houston. Good luck in Alvin!
