True--but I doubt this would have been reported had it happened at the Continental Bar on Main Strret. You need Bourbon Street to give the drunken bachorette party the appropriate ambience!
The first time we went to New Orleans was July of 1998. Even then Bourbon Street was so crazy all I could think was, I don't ever want to be here during Mardi Gras.

My sister's wedding and pre-wedding events were nothing like that...but that was in Houston in the 1980s (and without floods, too).
Isn't "bachelorette" now a sexist, non-PC term? How dare they!
