As I said elsewhere, "When the hell did we all get old?"

2016 has been claiming musicians at a rapid pace: Bowie, Frey, Kantner. I'm sorry Emerson was so depressed that he took his own life, the Grim Reaper seems to have been doing his job without needing any assistance.

/RIP, Keith. I hope you've found some peace.

You're absolutely right, Deb. The GR doesn't need any help. Stories like this one seem especially sad.

Damnit. I went to three of ELP's concerts at the Auditorium in Chicago. Probably they were my favorite band in 1971 and thereabouts. I remember Keith sticking the dagger in the keyboard, and also pulling the organ over on himself.

One time I remember them performing "Lucky Man" and Emerson screwed up the famous synthesizer solo.

This story really bums me out.
