I thought he'd been on the never-ending tour for years now.
/Saw him some years back when Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp were his opening acts. He has zero rapport with his audience, just doesn't engage with them at all.
That looks like a pretty strenuous schedule to me...June has 16 concerts in 15 different cities. I'm not sure I could handle the travel, let alone the concerts.
We saw him open for Paul Simon and it was bizarre seeing them (barely) interact. They did do a duet, as I remember, possibly "The Sounds of Silence" or "Like a Rolling Stone"or maybe both.

New tour? Is Dylan ever not touring?

Possibly because they can't understand a word he's saying?

Yeah, he's approaching Gabby Johnson* levels of unintelligibility these days.
/*Blazing Saddles.

It was definitely surreal.
With the voice he now has, I'm surprised he can do live concerts any more, but I'm sure the dough is good.
We and friends saw him in Grand Rapids, MI, in 2006. My wife was not impressed.
