Interesting stuff.

I was wondering whether you outline or just let it roll?

I'm a let it roll kind of a guy.

It's interesting that you mentioned the Frank Lebby Stanton poem and Henry Gibson's reciting it on Laugh-In. I don't remember his performing it on Laugh-In but there is an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show on which he plays one of Sally's dates and he recites a little of it in that episode. And of course, he used it for one of Haven Hamilton's songs in Nashville.

Very interesting interview, by the way.

Thanks. He got a lot of mileage out of that poem.
