Yeah, they're probably right, but I have a lot of soft spots in my heart (& head) for Tom Tyler in ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL, Robert Wilcox (the Copperhead)in MYSTERIOUS DR SATAN and Dick Purcekll in CAPTAIN AMERICA.
I feel like a cranky old man when I complain about lists like this but it drives me crazy that the authors seem to have no knowledge or appreciation of the past. When I saw the list last week that listed ten women who had changed science fiction and C.L. Moore wasn't on the list, I wanted to scream.

So do I, Dan.
A list such as this that does not mention Christopher Reeve is not right; this is what happens when youngsters do best lists.
And a list of superheroes that includes Catwoman and V from V for Vendetta has no reasonable criteria for who is and is not a superhero.
You got that right, Randy.

We don't think of ourselves as cranky here. Just sensible.
