I've read most of them. Harmless & nonthreatening, like most TV. The main character Pendergast is worthy for his creepiness. Maybe they're stay close to his description, a most non-FBI agent. His niece can be spooky. The plots? Hmmm. Expect the ordinary and you won't be disappointed. Hurd is good at producing, though. Maybe she sees more than I have. The RELIC was good, almost like Wilson's The Tomb. The movie was a Made for TV effort, although I think it played in the theaters.

I haven't either, though I've liked some of the stuff they've written.

The books have sold millions of copies, so they do have a ready-made audience.
I have read many of them. Enjoyed them. Very different.
