My first wife was very close to the McKillip family and I met Pat through her. I also read the book, which I enjoyed even though it's not in a genre I follow. Pat's a very nice woman and I'm glad she's had success as a writer.
Yet another interesting fact I didn't know about you, Cap'n. I really liked this book when I read it way back when. I passed it on to my daughter, who also liked it.
