What could possibly to wrong? www.statesman.com: Gun rights groups say they will conduct a mock mass shooting this weekend at the University of Texas campus as they try to end gun-free zones. Update: Change of venue.
Words *almost* fail me. I can conceive of no useful purpose for this piece of whatever it is; all it's going to do is create animosity and deepen divisions between people. And, given that concealed carry is *legal* where they are going to stage this charade (off-campus, on public streets and sidewalk), well, the probability of something going wrong is clearly non-zero.
Regardless of the change of venue, it will only take "one good guy with a gun" who sees what's happening and doesn't know the whole thing is being staged to turn this into an appalling tragedy. Again, I ask my previous question, what is wrong with people??
I fail to understand how ANYONE could think this would be a good idea. I fail to understand how ANYONE could fail to see it's a really, really, bad idea.

What is wrong with people????
WTF? I hope they are planning something like a "die in" and not some sort of enactment with props.
I hope Trump will be there as the "target."

I have no answer, Deb.
As always, when it comes to guns there is Texas and then there is every other crazy place.
