One of the bleakest--and one of the best--noirs ever.
I'm a fan of Thompson's work, and this is a good one, all right.
I will never forget the ending of this one. Wow.Jeff
I think it was Donald Westlake who observed, a Jim Thompson novel ends when all the characters have gone to Hell.
1984. I remember when the first Black Lizard titles showed up at Brentano's. Thirty+ years ago, hard to believe.
Seems like yesterday.
I kinda expected you to do the original Lion Books covers.I'm not angry, just disappointed.
I've had several requests for those, so they're coming right up.
