Oh yeah - bring it on! I love Macdonald, a little less than Hammett, but a little more than Chandler (wow, oops, yes!). And who else to do a film on the last of the Holy Trinity but the Coen Brothers, whose work I most admire. We know from "No Country for Old Men" that they don't change or F**k up the original story much, and "Black Money" was great, so I expect the film will be too. Hey, more art to keep the genre and the greats going, so who's gonna complain?!

Yes, I think this might work. I sure hope so.
As long as Archer isn't played by Shia LeBoeuf, or Will Smith.
