I've said it before (oh, only about one hundred times) and I'm sure I'll say it again, but IMHO Gillian Flynn's GONE GIRL is a mystery-thriller for people who haven't read too many of either.
I gave it up after 50 pages, Deb.
Surely they could have come up with a better photo of Laura Lippman than that ugly selfie!A.S.

Definite recency bias, despite several all-time greats.
Add my voice to the Lippman choir. You'd never know she's an attractive woman by that photo.
