Well, Cameron Diaz can be funny...though not with a bad script. However, as you suggest, Bill, more thoroughly comic actors are being bruited as the likely choices, and Feig has about as good an average as a comedy director as Ramis did.

Come on, you know Melissa McCarthy has to be in it.

Yes, McCarthy is the obvious choice. But why is this necessary? Just look at the original. We don't need no remake.
Also, I hate the use of "reboot" in the current Hollywood usage.
