Is anyone else thinking of Mr. Majestyk? Without the bullets, of course.
Following Hurricane Katrina, St. Bernard Parish was overrun with huge watermelons (perhaps the storm had scattered the seeds) and officials were warning people not to eat them because no one knew if they were safe. However, I don't think growth hormones were involved.
