The man had earlier thrown down a pair of inflatable sex dolls before stripping and hurling himself into the safety net which surrounds the plinth.
He also took a live chicken on to the plinth which had to be rescued by security staff after the man, who called himself Gunter, ran away."

I'd have to say it's the crocodile doll that he inflated that made it Art.
Gerald Saylor--you can, in London, sign up for a slot atop (rather high atop for my tastes) a plinth in Trafalgar, to do whatever sort of performance art you want. There's a live streaming video feed. If I wasn't too busy to be writing comments, I'd go dig it up...I know Kate Laity has a post some months back on her blog, www.katewombat.blogspot.com
